Custom frames

We design and hand-cut timber frames with traditional joinery, using local or regional timber species when they fit the job. The client's builder handles the foundation, enclosure, and finish.

We also make permit, shop, and piece drawings for architects, GCs, other framers, and DIY owners.

What we cut

All things timber frame.

That includes homes, cabins, and additions; barns, workshops, and garages; pavilions, outdoor kitchens, and carports; and saunas and bathhouses. In houses that are already standing, we cut porches, entries, timber ceilings, and trusses. Every frame is drawn for its site and cut by hand.
